Laci & Szandra Kádár
Ministry
Laci serves as the main Bible Teacher of the Bible Institute, teaching 7 courses September through May. On top of this he is frequently doing youth evangelism all over the country and he often speaks at various churches on the weekends. He is a doctoral student of Dallas Theological Seminary; his applied research project focuses on training youth evangelists. In our church he serves as an elder. Szandra’s ministry focus is on our family, our children, and our home. These may not be as spectacular as the things Laci is doing, but they are just as important. |
We pray that our kids would grow up in the fear of God, and we want to keep our home open for our family, our guests, students and friends. As our children grow, she has more time to mentor young ladies from the Bible Institute and help in many other ways as well. She is Laci’s translator in the Bible School, and she serves as the Children’s Ministries Coordinator in our church.
Testimony
Laci was not raised in a religious home, but through many experiences God had kept calling him since he was a young boy. He became a Christian in 1988. A young volunteer of Campus Crusade for Christ encouraged him in that decision. After graduating a Teacher’s College in Budapest, he joined the staff of WOL Hungary in 1995. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2007 with a Master of Theology degree.
Szandra was not raised up in a Christian home either. While growing up in the former Yugoslavia studying and playing Basketball filled his days. Because of the Balkan war she and her mother had to flee their homeland to Hungary, and in 1993, she became a Christian in a Basketball camp. She has a Master's degree in Croatian language and linguistics, and she has been on staff since 1997.
Family
We got married in 1997. After that we prayed along with many friends for children for seven years. Finally, God gave us the perfect Christmas gift - Fanni was born on Christmas Day, 2004. Then, in November 2006 our second daughter Luca followed, and in June 2008 Laci jr. arrived. We live in our own home in Tóalmás, and we hope we can host you in our home one day.
Our families’ life verse is John 13:35 “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Support
