Laci & Zsuzsi Deli
The Deli family, have been serving with Word of Life Hungary since 1992. From the very first moment we knew, it was the Lord leading us here. This certainly has been confirmed throughout the years.
Our ministry area is manifold. Laci works as an administrator, and this covers many areas. He is responsible for the cars, that people take out for ministries. He does the shopping for the kitchen and maintenance what is necessary for the operation of the ministry. He deals with official paper works, immigration office and other authority offices. He is responsible for the students and guests transportation. He was a founding member of the puppet-group, which till this day reaches out to many kids. |
Zsuzsi works as the Chef. In the past she has worked in several areas. She worked as the Bible School secretary, receptionist, guest services, cook and Chef. The students come to her with great love, like to a Mother, who helps them.
Testimonies
Laci
I grew up in a non-christian family, my mom raised me on her own, so I spent most of my childhood in children's foster home.I studied to be a Medical technician, I really enjoyed playing sports, swimming, Ice Hockey, Scuba diving, caving. I was working as a professional scuba diver when I met my wife in 1987. I heard the gospel from my wife the first time. During a European Youth Conference, I received the Lord as my personal savior. I'm grateful, that I've got the chance to know the Lord. I graduated in the two year program at the Bible School, and also did the Pastor program. Studying in the Bible School, been a great blessing and help, to get to know the Lord more and serve Him and the people around me.
Zsuzsi
I grew up in a Christian family, my mother assured us to go to church and have a personal relationship with the Lord. My family is very important for me, and that the Lord has a special place in our life. I'm grateful for the Lords guidance in our life. Despite any circumstances, God is always with us.
Family
We have two children, Diána was born in 1989. She graduated in the Baptist Theological Seminary, and spent 3 years in Brazil as a missionary. She has been volunteering with us in many areas, during camp, translating, English teacher...etc.
Daniel was born in 1995. When there is a need he'd also help out in the ministry, helps with shopping to Laci, or kitchen boy to Zsuzsi in the kitchen. He's been studying as a Telecommunications Technician.
We are very grateful for our family, that we can say that "as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
