We consider it as a miracle that we are able to serve at Word of Life Hungary, as we did not know about the existence of Word of Life or Toalmas in the summer of 2017. In spite of this, through God’s wonderful guidance, we’ve left behind our careers in the private sector, moved to Toalmas with the family, and started work at WOL as of June 1st 2018. This turnaround is well summarized by Matthew 6:19-21: “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth (…) but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, (…) for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”. |

Tasks
Efraim, as Operations Director, with his talent and experience works towards establishing an effective environment for the various departments of the organization (guest services, F&B, maintenance, IT, procurement), thus creating a stable platform to achieve WOL Hungary’s mission, namely giving the opportunity for campers, students and families to encounter God and grow in their spiritual walks.

Testimony
The typical form of testimony starting with “I have grown up in a Christian family” or “I have grown up in a pastor’s family” applies to both Efraim and Tabita. Both of us have been given strong Christian foundations at home and in the church, which we are really thankful for. We have grown up in the same church, we both met God as teenagers, and both carried the load while young. Our goal and desire is to bring young men and women closer to God.
We both committed ourselves to each other quite early (Efraim 18, Tabita 15), and got married 3 years later in 2010. We spent a longer period of time in Scotland (Efraim 10 years, Tabita 7 years) studying (Efraim - Business & Tourism Management and Project Management; Tabita - Visual Communication), working (Efraim – in hospitality during the study years and in the North Sea oil and gas sector after graduation; Tabita – in hospitality while studying and being a mum after graduation). In the meantime God has entrusted us with new projects: Emma in 2012, Daniel in 2014 and Hanna in 2016.
